Event Rules and Regulations
Race Format and Starts
• Formation Lap: Drivers must follow the standard in-game formation lap. Maintain a consistent gap and avoid aggressive weaving or erratic braking.
• Race Start: Racing commences only when the green flag is displayed. Overtaking is prohibited before crossing the start/finish line.
On-Track Conduct
• Initial Lap Caution: High-density traffic requires extreme caution during the opening lap, specifically through the Hohenrain Chicane.
• Defensive Driving: A driver may make one move to defend their position. Moving under braking or reactionary blocking is strictly prohibited.
• Blue Flags: Lapped cars must remain predictable. Do not brake suddenly on the racing line; instead, move to a non-racing line on a straight section to allow faster traffic to pass safely.
Pit Stops and Strategy
• Mandatory Pit Stop: All drivers are required to complete one mandatory pit stop.
• Technical Requirements: The mandatory stop must include both a full set of new tyres and a refuelling service.
• Pit Lane Protocol: Drivers must stay within the designated white lines during pit entry and exit. Crossing the blend line when merging back onto the circuit is a safety violation.
Incidents and Safety
• Safe Rejoin: In the event of an excursion off-track, the driver must wait for a clear opening before re-entering the circuit. Unsafe rejoins that impede or collide with other drivers will be penalized.
• Vehicle Damage: If a vehicle is significantly damaged and becomes a hazard, the driver must use the "Return to Garage" function rather than attempting to drive a compromised car back to the pits.
Post-Race Stewarding
• Incident Reporting: Protests must be submitted via the Discord ticketing service. Drivers must provide a video clip and a timestamp within 24 hours of the event completion for the stewards to review the incident.
